The psychologist's care pathway
Since February 2024, children - teenagers - young adults (up to the age of 23) suffering from Eating Disorders (without having been admitted to hospital) can benefit from a specialised care.
This care can begin with as soon as the GP has made a diagnosis and drawn up a treatment plan with the various care providers involved (psychologist, psychiatrist, child psychiatrist and dietician) in the patient's treatment.
Patients can benefit from psychological support combined with specialised dietetic care. without having to pay a co-payment or supplement for specific services reimbursed as part of the care package "eating disorders.

You take part in multidisciplinary consultations to draw up the treatment plan

You put in place support and care via the offer of care set out in the PPL agreement
It's free for the patient!
As soon as you have initiated the treatment, the patient is reimbursed 100 % for these services.
No co-payment or supplement for specific services reimbursed as part of the "eating disorders" care pathway.
In some more severe cases
If you or your patient feel that the eating difficulties they are experiencing require intensive treatment, you should know that there are specialised centres in the treatment of eating disorders capable of helping her.
